    Also did you put strapping and the stuff wire to attach it to in the 2 feet spaces also then easier to spread the mortar mixes onto

    Use a weed chopper tree chopper to cut the bails straw then add 1 part mulched straw and 1 part water and 1 part sand 8% limestones and 6 parts of redclay mud reduced clay not just red caly dirt watch the archaelogy how to make clay for mortar mix try this for one time see if works ok in your climates

    The architects also make new brick with 8% limestones in it also so the regular mix and then 8% to add the limestones for their new brick style on the video with the archways did you fellows try such yet?

    Archaelology guys says 6 part red clay and 1 part sand and 1 part water and 1 part straw and then affix to make bricks and such like mortar for the walls and such so does your mortar do this or are you using the limestones snad mix is this so?

    WHat mix are you making it? 6 part red clay 1 part sand 1 part water 1 part straw for brick or mortar right yes? Is that what you do ? What is your mix that cracks ? Try the right mix and see if it wont avoid cracking .

    Next time will you build a box to put into the bails when they are getting put in to allow all services to go through cause you can drill through at this point but what about the internet fellows or phone guys in future will they be able to get the drill through or do you put that in as you go too? If you build box into wall where services go in like window but with boards will that work in future so if people get stuff connected ?Or do you put all lines in now ?

    GUYS! WHEN YOU ARE NEAR WATER (WOULD BE BEST AWAY) BUT IF YOU HAVE TO THEN BUILD CONCRETE UP MANY FEET 8 to 10 UP TELL THEM BUDGET GET IT FILLED WITH STONE DUST AND GRAVELS AND THEN POUR A CEMENT FLOOR ON TOP WITH IN GROUND HEATING IN IT YOU HAVE THE TIES TO PUT THE HEATING IN IT AND THEN RAISE THE BASE UP AND PUT DIRT STONE LARGE ROCKS AROUND TO HOLD UP AND DIRT UP ON SLOPE DOWN THEN IF YOU START THE HOUSE UP HIGHER NEAR WATER IT IS SAFER. IF THEY GET YOU TO BUILD ANOTHER ONE THEN BUILD UP FILL IT IN AND THEN PUT DIRT AROUND THEN IF WATER RISES TEN FEET IN RAINS THEN YOU DONT GET FLOODED OUT EH MAYBE TRY IT IN FUTURE CAUSE WITH WEATHER BEING THE WAY IT IS EVERYONE GETS FLOODED. YOU GUYS CAN EASY BUILD YOUR WALLS UP PUT BIG LANDSCAPE ROCKS AROUND TO HOLD SO IF WATER COMES AND WASHES OUT THE LARGE ROCKS WONT GO ANYWHERE AND YES I KNOW THIS CAN ADD 5000 FOR ROCKS AND THOUSANDS FOR FILL AN DIRT BUT TEN THOUSAND OR SO TO START AND ELEVATE RATHER THAN LOSE ALL IS BETTER MAYBE ? I KNOW EVERYONE IS FINDING IT HARD THESE DAYS WE LOST ALL TOO. I DONT WANT TO BE CRITICAL ITS JUST AFTER GOING THROUGH FLOODING IT MAKES PEOPLE AWARE OF WHAT TO THINK ABOUT SO MAYBE TRY GETTING THE ONES NEAR WATER TO TRY TO ADD THE FILL AND BUILD THEM UP HIGHER TO START YES THEY LOSE BASEMENT BUT HIGHER UP ABOVE WATER LINES IF THEY FLOOD IS CRUCIAL . The codes says start to get below 4 feet then build dirt up so it is 4 feet on slopes to get building inspector guy to let it maybe ask him what he says if builders can do so?

    Put courtyards for parties on westside for sun set side more light

  • @user-qf8gd9or4d
    @user-qf8gd9or4d 14 годин тому

    Sure east gets them awake then when they live during day then light is not on west so switch it around give them more light at night instead of having to use electricity west side sunset then they have more light later to see without excess use and in day same what is the point of bedrooms on east yes it wakes them then they dont spend time in that room so they then end up on west side with no light so try to consider switching it up maybe? They have alrm clocks to wake them.

    put french doors at the u shape center and make an area to eat and a fire place bbq area or better yet build longhouse style and build in a cross shape and make 4 extrior courtyards to extend and make seem bigger with pool exercise areas in one fitness areas under veranda or gallery and screen them in and give light and or bbq cooking dining area build them a 40 x 40 slab out for patios too then they can get tents in future to extend and add every 6.8 ties for garden cement features to tie to and plan for exterior garden parties plan to design FLOW for spacious feeling if they want courtyards give them 4 areas in cross stryle longhouse style easier for you to build and put roof and solar across all 4 sides so you can capture all light every angle! Then 4 areas for courtyards pools and patio fireplaces etc build in features so it functions for life!

    tell him in future plan for more structure as the roof looked like it was buckling without snow loads on it so add more to hold up the roof for strength there is reason the arch windows were in rows in past they needed it to hold up the roof under snow loads look at traditional buildings styles and add more underlying structure guys to the frame.That way it wont buckle under weight put it every two feet when building the roof that you lift and then have supports on each level the way they had to do flying butresses to keep collapse from happening then you all need to deal with even when you raised the roof it buckled under slight lift cause there needs to be more suport bulid I beams maybe that will help or maybe add arches to help carry weight. Try making things in longhouse style it will be easier for you all to build properly and get the proper supports on the design you are going for buckling and not having enough without snow then you all need better knowledge before building those styles get other architect to consult before you do as your wish to have less structure the roof buckling will make people concerned . Try the OLD WAYS of the longhouse styles that are easier for you all to build and it fits better with your heirloom building anyways that ways it is easier to make safe and can be extended out to accomodate more space if needed. The roof buckling without snow even on it is upsetting. Make sure that every two feet you have boards and arches to carry the weight to stablize it . Also the people who think they need open concept will regret if there is not enough load bearing walls inside so add them and design the space to flow to the outside to give it more spaciousness.

    in 1999 we bought a farm in Perry county, Arkansas. the water system was water pumped from our 1 acre STOCK POND(used by horses, cows, goats, dogs, a donkey, etc.... to drink from and wade in) to a 2 chamber sand filter and then pumped directly into the house to drink, shower, flush etc... the filter was 1 large rectangular tank with a divider going to within 4 inches from the bottom and filled to within 8 inches from the top with SAND on one side and only 12 inches deep on the other side. a submersible pump in the pond pumped to the high sand side through a float valve on the side of the tank. from there the water filtered down to the bottom and up into the other side of the tank and the height was the same as the other side. water was piped from the clean side via the intake pipe from a jet pump that went up the outside of the tank over the edge and down into the tank about a foot, where a screen was attached. this sand filter was originally used to filter the well water, but the water table was low, because the highway department had blasted the old bridge and water was flowing from our well out the side of the bank and into the river! we didnt have much water used the filter to filter pond water! before i moved in 2006, we put 3 IBC tanks side beside in a basement addition and then used REVERSE OSMOSIS and DC POWERED UV LAMPS IN HOME MADE MANIFOLD.

Steel siding is way out of this world in price, vinyl (will never use anyway) isn't that much cheaper than steel ( material cost). I am thinking maybe I can create a smooth surface with lime plaster and add some sort of battens?? Any thoughts, anyone? Also, how is the paintability of the lime plaster being that the breathable aspect is not a concern here?
